You can use the free VirtualDub with the Deshaker plugin to stabilize that video. Also, there is a Deshaker script for Sony Vegas 9 and below. The new Sony Vegas 10 has a deshaker FX built in.

Am now using Vegas Pro 9 but will upgrade to Vegas 10 in the near future while it is still $139.99 for users upgrading from previous Pro versions. I want to point out to the administrator/mods that the date posted on the SonyHDVInfo page as its date of creation is incorrect. It was launched in 2004, not 1994.
