Re: New Panasonic HDC-TM900 / HDC-HS900 / HDC-SD900 / HDC-SD
True, they're not too different from last year. What I like though, is the main difference from Sony & Canon models: a tri-sensor in a compact body. I have a HDR-FX7, same 3 x 1/4" and yet much bulkier. It would be interesting to compare PQ of FX7 vs TM700. Maybe you will switch :D Pana is...

Re: New Panasonic HDC-TM900 / HDC-HS900 / HDC-SD900 / HDC-SD
I am far from being excited about the new 2011 Pana cams. Aside from the 3D lens compatibility I don't see any significant differences to 2010 models.
oh yeah 3.5" LCD.
SD900 most probably will be Europe-only/PAL model, just like SD700. SD700 was never released in the US.

3MOS 1080p60 for $399
Amazon (and now B&H) have Pana HDC-SD600K for $399. It is basically the same as HDC-TM700 except there are no focus ring, no EVF, no external mic, DD 2.0 instead of 5.1. No internal 32GB storage, only external SD/SDHC cards. Still the same optics and everything. You can get 1080p60 cam with 3MOS...

Re: Panasonic HDC-SDT750 consumer 3D camcorder
Dunno guys. After about 5 minutes of watching HD I feel sick.
During initial 5 minutes I mostly feel like I am looking at the cheap cardboard pictures.
Did I mention I hate those special glasses?
But that's me, enjoy it if you can.

Re: Panasonic HDC-HS700
Thanks!
Here is an example from someone as of how to make AVC clip out of 1080p60 (or 1080p50) footage:

For the PAL pals change frame rate to 50 instead of 59.94.

Re: Panasonic HDC-HS700
Hi Doughie, long time no see. Hi Stephan, nice to meet you. Now, on topic: If you have a quad Intel PC and something like Sony Vegas or Premiere CS5, you will be able to edit 60p and render to 60p file. You will not be able to make a Blu ray because 60p is not a part of Blu ray spec (yes, it surpris...
