Re: Editing AVCHD clips

I have Cineform NeoScene. I still run everything 32 bit on Windows XP. I like to add the MTS files to a Vegas project and do basic cuts / editing and then render out to Cineform. I then import the Cineform files into the same project (if I want to mark the same basic cuts) and do color correction an...

Re: Editing AVCHD clips

Vegas may seem strange to those who use Premiere (I was one of those people) but after a while it becomes very easy and its structure begins to make sense. I still use Cineform with Vegas. Got a new HXR-NX5U

I got a new HXR-NX5U a few days ago...It is a big step up from my HDR-HC1 (though I still like the HC1 === still useful in wet weather with a housing, smaller, and infrared --- and a great second camera in good lighting). I am very impressed by the new Active Steadyshot --- it makes it look almost a...

Re: Which Editing package do you use?

I used to use Adobe Premiere Pro but switched a few years ago to Sony Vegas. It runs well on my laptop and on all of my systems and will even be used for AVCHD footage. It works well on slower systems (just a bit slower but still functions well). Aside from that, I use Avisynth, Virtualdub and Adobe...

Re: "Glad You Are Back!!"

I am happy to see that the web site is online.

I look forward to getting information and having discussions (I did not post much in the past).

I have a new HXR-NX5U showing up on Wednesday --- an upgrade to my HDR-HC1... :-)
