Re: Bracket for attaching both external light and Mic.
I did some more search after I got the link from you but I think a lot of them are a little chunky. I was a Tool Maker/Draughtsman for 13 years. I will replace the metal arm for External Mic.with one that has a U shape cut at each end so that I can mount both Light and Mic. and still using the only ...

Bracket for attaching both external light and Mic.
Hi I hope someone here may be able to guide me to the right place. Is there a simple bracket that allow me to attach both an external light and microphone to my FX7? I did some search but unable to find anything for this. If I put HVL-20W2 (light) on then i can’t attach ECM CG1 (microphone) because ...

Re: Need help in Exposure mode for Sony FX7
Hi Thank you Stephan and Adam for taking time to try and explained to me in this post. Stephan’s first post clarified my question and Adam’s posts expand it further or gave more detail into this setting. I’ve been reading both Sony manual as well as Steve’s handbook, but like I said before I need mo...

Re: Need help in Exposure mode for Sony FX7
Thank you acgold7 I know after I moved the switch from Auto lock to middle, I can change iris, gain or shutter speed when letter A shown next to those values. I thought if I press exposure/iris button while still in this position the shutter speed should automatically change to 50 or 60 but it didn’...

Re: Need help in Exposure mode for Sony FX7
Thank you for prompt reply and welcoming me to this forum. I thought I’ve done something wrong that make these values unchanged. I have read your Tutorial for the past 3 weeks and i like the idea to use auto mode to get exposure approximately right then lock it with Exposure/iris button, but sometim...
