Sure, you are right. With Sony AX2000 I will make documentaries, I think more details are important.

Sony AX2000 gives a sharp picture?

Hi, in your opinion is the sharp (definition) of Sony AX2000 on average or is it a little bit weak?
About colorimetry I think it is a little bit reddish.
What are your suggestions?
Thanks

But if I don't format but erase the memoy the number of the clips doesn't start from "one" number but from the latest number.
For example: if I erase 20 clips and I do some shots, the first clip have the 21 number.

... but if I will do it I will lose quality of image (AVCHD color space is 4:2:0). If I will do it in the camera I will not lose that quality.

Necessary to reformat card?

Thanks a lot for your suggestions. I'm using for the first time Memory Stick Pro-HG Duo HX, can you tell me if every time I have transferred files from Memory stick to hard disk I have to format the Memory stick or it is sufficient to delete those files in the Memory stick?
Thanks

Re: An used Sony EX1 or NX5U for me?

If you were me what would you buy for documentaries around the world? My ideas are more and more confused.
I think MPEG2 is a mature codec, too much mature and may be it will be replaced by AVCHD.
thanks

An used Sony EX1 or NX5U for me?

Hi, my budget is around four thousand euros and I'm very undecided between an used Sony EX1 or NX5U. I'd like to buy a new camera for my documentaries around the world, in the remote areas.
