Tape HDM63VG vs DVM63HD, compatibility

I've been using the Sony DVM63HD miniDV tapes in my Sony Z1U camcorder.

Does anyone know if the HDM63VG tapes are basically the same quality? Is there any known problem with head gunking if switching back and forth between these two types of tapes?

I saw these HDM63VG on B&H Photo Video recently as I was looking for the PHDVM-63DM 'HDV Digital Master' tapes instead.

These HDM63VG seem to be new? It was already difficult justifying the higher cost for the HDV DVM-63HD compared to the ordinary Premium tapes. These HDM63VG are a bit of a mistery.
