streaming avchd on home network

i am unable to play the files that are copied directly onto my win7 laptop from the camcorder while in the living room on the other win7 laptop. both laptops are less than twelve months old. i have installed the cd that came with the camcorder on both laptops and that didnt help. i updated all codecs on both laptops. if i transfer the file directly to the hard drive of either of the laptops it plays fine. but it will not stream without annoying disturbances thru out the video.

i was wondering if anyone else had these issues and was able to figure it out. thank you.

If you're networking with Wi-Fi, the network might not have enough bandwidth to support Full HD playback. I remember I tried doing the same using my Playstation 3 to stream my HD video directly from my PC onto my living-room HDTV, but Wi-Fi just wasn't fast enough and I ended up copying video files onto a USB key. There's a new flavor of Wi-Fi around though (Wi-Fi 'n' which is faster than the older 'b/g') but I don't know if it's even sufficient.
