Re: Upgrading to HD
Hi, welcome to our forums! ... sick of Mini DV tapes and the real time transfer to my Mac Pro Have you been using FCP till now? FWIW, I too will be doing some kind of an upgrade shortly... as I have tested Final Cut Pro X and will probably switch to an iMac soon. Although my cams still are HDV, and ...

Re: AE Setting
This seems quite fine to me. I have an FX7, really similar in settings. You can choose in the menu what is the function assigned to the front dial (wheel). There's no Firewire-to-HDMI adapter to my knowledge. It's not an electrical connection issue, the data formats are altogether different.drdoolittle wrote:Do you guys know if there is an adaptor which which allow the connection of a female 4-pin firewire port to a male mini HDMI connector?

Re: TM900 vs TM90
PAHDCTM900 The HDC-TM900, and the HDC-TM700 that it replaced, have been highly regarded and providing great value for the money. A 3-CMOS camcorder (comparable to Sony's FX7) in a small body for $600, wow I wouldn't settle for anything less. But I wouldn't take still pictures with a camcorder. Thes...

Hi, regarding the Aperture vs. Gain trade-off, you may need som...

Re: HXR-MC2000U vs. HDR-FX7
Meaning that it's hard to have both at the same time. With too much motion you lose some definition. With a still camera, you retain the crisp high def.hdmickey wrote:When you say, choose high definition, or motion, but I can't have both at the same time, what do you mean?

Hi, you can attach a picture to your post. Go for the Upload attachment option right below the textbox where you're writing. Size limitations are specified in the Forum FAQ.philsfilm wrote:I would but I don't know how to do it on this site.
