Phoenix Zoo

here is one oif the first videos I shot with the Sony HVR-V1U. I had taken my tripod and everything because I had planned to make a really good video. I ended up not being able to use the tripod because i left the mount at home attached to my other camera :o( http://sierravistaphoto.biz/video/?p=28 ...

Re: Videos

The colors are nice, I think, except the blue/purple cast on the little girl at 00:34 (outdoor light with wrong WB? That's fixable in post) At 02:45 in the ballroom, there's some smooth camera movement after they move in. Nice! Did you use a stabilizer of some sort? Actually I had the camera mounte...

Wedding video

Okay all, I did a wedding trailer and uploaded it to my web site. This video was shot with both the Sony HVR-HD1000U and Sony HVR-V1U cameras. Re: Which Editing package do you use?

Well as I use Mac, I edit footage using iMovie (iLife 9) ad Final Cut Express 4.0. I use both Macbook Pro and iMac 27" all in one. I would love to be able to pick up Final Cut Studio, but considering my recent purchases I have been "Cut Off" from funding by my other half :o)

Re: Sony UWP-V1 Lav Mic

I haven't seen bad reports here, but there are some people on the internet and a few youtube vids that are bad. Personally I have had nothing but good come of Sony, so that's why I decided to go with them for everything. I will be working on wedding footage today and tomorrow and I will post links (...

Sony UWP-V1 Lav Mic

Okay, I started a new topic on this because it's more about the mic system, but if admin see fit to put it under the topic of Sony HVR-V1U lav mic it would be okay there too. I decided to go ahead and purchase the Sony UWP-V1 Lav Mic system. I purchased 2 sets and they came in yesterday. I was able ...
