Good to know. Wasn't there some issue about being unable to capture/transfer from Sony cams to Macs not too long ago? It dominated all the boards for quite a while....

There is an extensive review of the Sony MC2000 right here on this forum so you may wish to look at that to see if you think that cam is for you. Most of the current non-tape cams these days shoot to AVCHD, which may pose some problems with FCP and Macs; I don't know whether they have worked those o...

Also in the same price range an industry standard are the Sennheiser HD 280s. I have a set of those as well and they are magnificent.

SOMDR7506 I've got the 7506es as well and they are fantastic. But any lightweight headphones that form a nice seal over your ears will do -- anything to isolate the sound. Sony makes several models and at least where we are, they always have some great bargains at their online and brick & morta...

Not sure what you mean. YouTube now does a very nice job of encoding up to 1080p60 if you do it right. Premiere even has a preset for it.peter-s-c wrote: Please excuse the usual Youtube butchery of the quality.

Doughie, do you mean Tascam DR-05? Tamrac makes cases, I think (and Tamron makes lenses). Maybe it's different where you are.

This is the funny part, when I lower the exposure of the camera, it darkens the images, however, it also reduces down the db count on the end product.
