HDR-CX700V Can't Delete Vids in Windows Explorer

Post by KJJ »

Hi there,
I can only copy files off my HDR-CX700V, I Can't Delete Videos in Windows Explorer.

Is there a setting I can change to get this to work?

No. You're not supposed to do it this way because there are invisible database files that wouldn't get deleted and they'd mess everything up. Do it the way they say to in the manual (page 38). I imagine you can also use PMB as well, which is what you should be using to do your importing. Do not treat your cam like a dumb disk drive because you will leave important metadata behind.
