Transferring Video Directly to a Storage Device

Post by pony2010 »

Sony has a feature called Direct Copy, has anyone used it? Is this the cable that's needed, or is there some other trick to doing it?

I'll be away from my computer for a few days, and I'm afraid I'll run out of space (60GB only). I was thinking of taking a Seagate Free Agent 1 TB drive with me - it doesn't require a separate power source to work.

If anyone has done it before, please let me know how it worked out for you. Thank you very much!
