HDR-CX350V
Re: HDR-CX350V
Thanks!!
That looks exactly like what I need.
I'm also missing the "shoe" for this tripod. Any ideas for a source for those? I have one from a different tripod that kinda/sorta fits, but I'd like a better one. I tried google, but can't find one. The tripod is a Sony VC-R60RM.
Also - regarding tripod use, any reason to turn off iAuto when using a Tripod?
Thanks again.

Re: HDR-CX350V
I'm guessing you mean the VCT-670RM. Is this it?

It's been discontinued for a long time now, but you might be able to find the quick release plate or mounting shoe at partstore.com, Sony's parts website or even eBay. But it will probably cost you more than a new tripod.
The only part of iAuto that would be affected during tripod use is the camera-shake detection, and there's a sub-setting for that. So make sure that's set for TRIPOD and you should be good to go.
